Our Thursday night Football Winner is on Maryland + the points against Virginia Tech, as RESTED conference underdogs of more than 7, and less than 28 points are 27-4 ATS in Weekday games since 1980, if the favorite (here, Virginia Tech) is off a win and does not have revenge against our underdog. And we can improve our 27-4 stat to a perfect 9-0 ATS if our underdog (here, Maryland) is off a SU/ATS loss. With the Terrapins in off a 16-0 loss, and Virginia Tech in off a 27-24 win, let's back Ralph Friedgen's Terps in this ACC Thursday Night game. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Vikings as a big underdog vs. Indy, as we will play ON Mike Tice's crew off their blowout loss at the hands of the Giants last week (34-13 as a 7-point favorite). Since 1980, in NFL games between two teams that have .500 or better records, underdogs of more than 3 points are 10-0 ATS off exactly one loss, if they lost by more than 11 and were favored by 6+ points in that previous game. Even without Randy Moss, the Vikings are talented enough to upset Indianapolis, and the Colts' home field advantage is lessened because of Minnesota's familiarity in playing in domed stadiums. Take the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

Rested NBA teams off a win are 96-42 ATS vs. non-division foes off back-to-back outright underdog wins. Off upsets over Detroit and Houston, look for Toronto to lose Sunday afternoon to the Blazers. Take Portland.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Tampa Bay Bucs, as we will play AGAINST Kansas City off its offensive output (101 points) over the last two weeks. But NFL teams that score 89 points or more in their previous two games are a poor 4-15 ATS since 1980, including an awful 0-6 ATS if the line is 5 points or less. Take Tampa Bay. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my afternoon NBA winner on Sunday.

At 10 pm, on Fox Sports Net, our Pac 10 Game of the Month is on Oregon State, who have won and covered 3 straight, and are playing like the team that almost upset LSU in Week 1. Now, the Beavers get the "other Number 1" team from last season: USC. And Southern Cal better be careful because unbeaten road teams are 3-17 ATS since 2000 at Game 6 of the season or later, if they're NOT getting 2+ points, and are matched up against a foe off a win. And, if the opponent is off back-to-back wins, the 17-3 angle improves to a perfect 9-0. Oklahoma fell into this negative 3-17 situation last week, and came within a field goal going into Overtime. USC may not be so lucky. Take the points.

On Saturday, our selection is on the Detroit Pistons, as the Champs fall into an early season bounce-back angle of mine that is 67-17 ATS, including 24-1 when our team is favored by 6 or more points. With Detroit off a 12-point loss last night, we'll back the Pistons to BOUNCE BACK on this Saturday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3:30 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the Minnesota Golden Gophers +6.5 over Wisconsin, as Minnesota falls into a system of mine that is 29-0 ATS since 1989. This system involves playing on certain road underdogs off exactly one loss of 3 or more points, if they were favored in that loss by 6 or more, and have a win percentage greater than .250. The Gophers were favored by 18 points last week at Indiana, but the Hoosiers stunned them 30-21. Let's take Glen Mason's crew to rebound on Saturday and hand Wisky its first defeat of the season. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my 5-game Saturday College Football package, or my Big Twelve or Pac Ten Games of the Month.

The Irish fall into a 43-10 ATS system, which involves playing on certain road underdogs off exactly one loss, if they were favored by 6+ points in that loss, and they have a win percentage of .500 or better. Notre Dame had last week off after being shocked by Boston College in the final seconds to lose 24-23 as a touchdown favorite. I look for Ty Willingham's men to rebound down in Knoxville on Saturday. Take the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my Big Twelve or Pac Ten Games of the Month, or the Big Enchilada--my November College Football Game of the Month this afternoon.

At 3:30 pm, our Big 12 Game of the Month is on Texas A&M, who have big-time revenge from a 77-0 pasting by Oklahoma last year. But even without that monster motivation, I would be making this a big play. And that's because unbeaten teams that start the season with 8 or more victories are 0-20 vs. conference foes with a win percentage between .666 and .875, if that foe is NOT off back-to-back ATS wins. The Aggies are 6-2 on the season (.750) and have failed to cover the spread in each of their last 2 games. And they lost OUTRIGHT as 24-point favorites at Baylor last weekend. Do you think they may have been looking ahead? I do! Take the points and don't be shocked at an outright upset. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And be sure to get on board for my November Game of the Month, as well as my Pac 10 Game of the Month. Both of those big winners are available right now.
